Say whatever you want about the 70s, but they did have some interesting fashion designs. Like this silver sequin dress worn by Rocío Jurado in La hora de..., a series of one hour shows where popular artists sang some of their greatest hits. There are lots of beautiful dresses in it, but this one is my favourite. Those sequins are enough to awake my inner magpie

There's an educational side to this, though. I'm trying to find a way of rendering sequins that I like. I've tried to adapt my Photoshop routine to GIMP, but GIMP's options have proven even more practical than Photoshop's. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out, although I do see some parts that need some more definition. I may have to make more dolls with sequins... Oh, the horror!
